As a Data Engineer at TECHLETES, you will help companies build data and AI solutions that directly contribute to better decision-making and more efficient processes. You will develop ETL pipelines, data lakes, APIs and cloud-based solutions, for example, and make sure data is processed and made available intelligently and at scale. You will also work on developing and implementing AI-powered applications that help businesses improve their performance.

You will work in a dynamic environment, moving between different projects and clients. No two projects are the same: the challenges, sectors and technologies vary. You will have plenty of freedom to work independently and can always count on a team that thinks things through with you.

What will you do as a Data Engineer?

• Design, build and maintain ETL pipelines that make data reliably available at scale and for reuse.
• Set up and manage data lakes, data warehouses and databases for our clients.
• Build and integrate APIs and cloud-based data solutions (for example, on AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Help design and implement data architectures ready for growth and future AI applications.
• Work with data scientists and consultants to bring data and AI solutions into production.
• Optimize the performance, reliability and security of data solutions.
• Analyze and resolve technical issues and continually improve existing data flows.
• Document your solutions and explain how they are built to colleagues and clients.

• A salary of €3,750–€5,500 per month, depending on experience.

What we are looking for

• You have demonstrable experience building data infrastructure or cloud solutions, whether through internships, study projects, previous jobs or ambitious side projects.
• You have 1 to 4 years of relevant work experience.
• You have completed at least a university degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Econometrics, Engineering or a comparable field.
• You have experience with Python and SQL (knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP is a strong plus).
• You know about ETL pipelines, databases and APIs.
• You have experience with data modeling, data architecture and scaling data solutions.
• You have good communication skills: you can guide clients through the process and explain technical concepts clearly.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English.
• You are passionate about data, engineering and innovation and want to grow in this field.
